About a Domain
Look behind the scenes of any website.
Which tool when?
- "Is my VPN really working?" — start with the Privacy Check. It runs the DNS leak, WebRTC, and IP comparison together. For DNS specifically, the DNS Leak Test shows the exact resolver.
- "Is a website down or is it just me?" — Ping from our server. If ours succeeds and yours doesn't, the problem is between you and the site.
- "Is this site safe before I log in?" — SSL Check confirms a real certificate is in place. Blacklist Check shows if the IP has a security history.
- "My emails go to spam" — Blacklist Check on the sending IP is the first thing to look at.
- "Why is this site slow only sometimes?" — Ping from our server tells you whether the slowdown is on your end or the destination; CDN Check tells you whether the site uses one.
- "What does this domain run?" — DNS Lookup for IPs / mail servers, Port Scan for what's listening on common ports, HTTP Headers for which server software answers.
